Message from Nao Kakimoto （[.que] / Seatide）
The song “Setsuna” expresses the two Japanese terms setsuna (living in the moment) and setsunasa (bitter sweet).
We are all living every moment, struggling and making choices in each one.
ーI have a little story behind this song.
When I worked with the teenagers in the education program, initially,
we only composed the tunes together and didn’t have any plans to make it into a song.
But as I spent time with the them, I was inspired by their genuine minds and enthusiasm and found myself thinking,
“Maybe it is time I try singing.”
I knew this was the moment for me to pursue the dream that somewhere along I had left behind.
I started a new solo music project named Seatide, and decided to start singing again,
expressing my passion with my own words and voice.
ーThis song, has made me become true to myself.
